Parrish has grown quickly, and many homeowners there moved into new construction with finishes they plan to replace. We help Parrish families personalize newer homes, from floors and cabinets to paint, water treatment and bathrooms.

Drive through Parrish today and you'll pass one new subdivision after another. This part of northeast Manatee County has seen a large wave of new construction, and many of the people we meet there are in their first or second year in a brand-new house. Their questions are rarely about repairs. They're about making a newly built home in Parrish feel finished: replacing the basics the builder installed with materials and layouts that suit a growing household.
The new-home upgrade list
Builders often price a home with entry-level finishes and offer upgrades at extra cost, and many buyers skip some of those options at closing. Here's what Parrish homeowners ask us to replace:
- Floors — carpet in bedrooms and living areas swapped for vinyl plank flooring that handles kids, pets and humidity better
- Kitchens — a full kitchen remodel, or just quartz and granite countertops and new cabinetry
- Walls — character from shiplap and tongue-and-groove paneling, new trim or fresh paint
- Water — water purification systems for filtration or hard-water treatment
- Bathrooms — small showers, basic vanities and plain tub surrounds
Parrish communities we work in
We work across Parrish's newer neighborhoods, including North River Ranch, Harrison Ranch, Copperstone and Silverleaf, as well as older rural properties along the US 301 corridor. The Fort Hamer Bridge over the Manatee River puts Parrish a short drive from Lakewood Ranch and east Bradenton, and neighboring Ellenton and Palmetto sit to the southwest.
Flooring and cabinets in a new home
New-home floors and cabinets have their own quirks. Builder slabs can have high and low spots that carpet hid, so we check flatness before laying plank or large tile and grind or level where needed. New plank has to meet existing tile cleanly at doorways, and baseboards usually come off and go back on at the new floor height. With cabinets, builder boxes are often sound enough to keep; new doors, hardware and a stone top can change a kitchen without a full tear-out.
Bathrooms in new Parrish homes
Bathrooms here are structurally sound but often underwhelming, and some families are planning for kids' bath time or a parent moving in. Our Parrish bathroom remodeling page covers those projects, including how builder warranties and association rules affect a bathroom remodel.
Hard water and new finishes
Hard water and mineral scale are common across the Gulf Coast, and new fixtures and glass show spotting quickly. If you're already planning a bathroom or kitchen upgrade, it can make sense to look at water treatment at the same time so the new finishes stay looking new.

What Clients Say
“Today's Home Services did an outstanding job re-grouting my 18 year old bathroom walls and floor. My bathroom looks brand new. The two men who performed the work were friendly, hard-working and extremely professional. It is refreshing to have work done that is hassle free. I intend to use them to re-stain the tile flooring in my home as well.”

“Shawn and his team did a great job of analyzing what the job needed, made some great suggestion and then measured and mapped out the materials. They were there on time and finished even ahead of schedule. They were very affordable and came back to make minor adjustments at no extra charge. Definitely a company that cares about making the customer happy. Will use them again!”
